Men of the Church
The purpose of the Men of the Church (MOC)is
to strengthen our faith through prayer and Bible Study.
The main goal of MOC is to support the mission of PGU in all areas of giving and growth.
Activities include: cooking & serving New Year's Day breakfast, church's picnic, Mother's Day lunch
& Vacation Bible School.
Forgiven and freed by God in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit:
We commit ourselves: to nurture our faith through prayer and Bible Study,
to support the mission of the church worldwide, to work for justice and peace,
and to build an inclusive, caring community of women that strengthens the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)
and witnesses to the promise of God's Kingdom. Any woman who is a member of
Parkway Gardens United (PGU) Presbyterian Church is a member of PGU Presbyterian Women (PW).
Participating members are divided into four Circles (Sunburst, Flower, Rainbow and Spice) that form small groups that gather monthly from September to June to provide an inclusive, caring community of women.
Activities include: Provide a monthly Bible Study for women through the four circles.
